CBD bath bombs are a great way to utilise CBD’s many benefits. Taking a bath with a CBD bath bomb or bath salts allows the natural oils to absorb through your skin and relax all parts of your body. As well as relieving tension around the body, bath bombs also help to soften skin, soothe sunburn, and rebalance the skin's natural moisture. Some modern bath bombs often contain cosmetic nasties. With a CBD bath bomb you can be comfortable that you are bathing in a natural product that is designed to restore the balance of the skin's natural moisture. Enjoy the relaxing experience of natural essential oils soothing your muscles alongside the powerful benefits of CBD.
What Is CBD?CBD is the more commonly known name and abbreviation for cannabidiol, which is one of over 100 different cannabinoids found within the cannabis plant. Cannabidiol is often extracted from the hemp variety of the plant, as the hemp plant has large levels of CBD but small amounts of THC. This is particularly useful as CBD products must contain less than 0.2% THC in order to remain legal within the UK. THC is the psychoactive substance within cannabis which causers users to experience a high, but with such a small amount of THC and many products even containing zero THC, this is nowhere near enough in order to cause a high. Research into CBD is still in its early phases and so we make no medical claims about the health benefits that it can provide, but early research has been encouraging.
How Do I Use CBD Bath Bombs?CBD bath bombs are used like any ordinary bath bomb, just simply toss it into your bath water and watch it dissolve. Next step is to jump in and enjoy a relaxing bath with all of the added CBD benefits. For best results we’d recommend a hot bath and allow the bath bomb to dissolve for up to 3 minutes prior to entering. All of our products will display instructions for use on the packaging. You might even want to buy CBD soap and CBD shampoo so you can get the full package!
How Long Should You Soak In a CBD Bath Bomb For?We would typically recommend you soak in your CBD bath bomb for up to 30 mins. This will allow the CBD to soak into the skins pores and enter the body.
What Is The Difference Between Bath Salts & Bath Bombs?Whilst bath salts and bombs are both similar in that they both contain essential oils and provide similar benefits, there are some differences. Bath bombs are fun and fizzy and provide an explosion of colour alongside their many great benefits, whereas bath salts are dissolved in warm bath water and give off a pleasant smell but do not create such a vibrant colour.
Why Use CBD Bath Bombs?People love using bath bombs to relax at the end of a stressful day, so why not reap both the benefits of an aromatic bath bomb and the effects offered by CBD. Bath bombs are simple and easy to use, just simply toss it into a warm bath and jump in. CBD bath bombs allow those who can appreciate the benefits of CBD to get them without introducing major changes into their routine and lifestyle.
Are CBD Bath Bombs Safe?Yes! CBD bath bombs and bath salts are safe to use. Like previously mentioned, they are made with natural products and can be less daunting to take than CBD oils, so they’re perfect for those looking to start their journey of using CBD. Sometimes CBD may provide some unwanted minor side effects such as drowsiness, however this is unlikely to occur with topical application which bath bombs provide, although it is something to be aware of. Before you begin using CBD we would recommend that you consult your doctor or a medical professional to ensure that CBD is right for you. Your doctor will be best placed to determine if CBD is right for you, which is important if you take certain prescription medications where the reaction with CBD is unknown. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding then it is advised you do not use CBD.
How Long Can I Keep A Bath Bomb For?If you keep your bath bombs in the original packaging within a cool, dark place then the bath bomb should retain its effectiveness and scent well. For each product, this amount of time may differ and so it is always best to consult the packaging of the product you use. For best results though, we would always recommend using your bath bomb as soon as possible to prevent to risk of it losing its scent.
Will Bath Bombs Stain My Bath Tub?Whilst bath bombs can be quite bright and vibrant colours it is unlikely that they will leave a stain in your bath tub. To ensure they do not, empty the bath once you have finished and then wipe away the ring which is left around the tub by the water line. It may also help to wash it down with a jug of water, but no special cleaning equipment is needed.
How Often Can I Use A Bath Bomb? How often you use a bath bomb will be completely down to personal preference, and there is no set frequency you should use one to get the best results. Some people may find benefit from using a bath bomb every time they take a bath, whereas others may prefer to just use a bath bomb once a week after a tough week at work. The best thing to do is test to see what works best for you!
How Much CBD Is In A Bath Bomb? Our CBD bath bomb products come in a range of different strengths depending on which one you choose. Some of them contain as low as 20mg whereas others contain 150mg, so you can choose whichever strength you wish. For those new to using CBD we would recommend you choose a bath bomb with a lower strength of CBD, whereas if you are more experienced in using CBD you should opt for something slightly stronger. With CBD, it is always best to start with a lower dosage and seeing how your body reacts, rather than consuming too much CBD and potentially seeing some unwanted side effects. When you have tried a lower dosage you can always then choose something stronger should you feel you need it.
What Type of CBD Bath Bombs Are Available? When deciding on which type of CBD bath bomb to buy you'll be faced with three types of CBD. Broad spectrum, full spectrum and CBD isolate. It's important you understand the difference between the three before making your choice. Full spectrum CBD products contain the full range of cannabinoids from the hemp plant. This means that they may contain up to 0.2% of the THC cannabinoid. As they contain the full spectrum of cannabinoids, it is often claimed that full spectrum products can provide an entourage effect, whereby the CBD and other cannabinoids such as THC work together to provide a greater effect than they would have individually. Broad spectrum CBD products contain only a broad spectrum of cannabinoids, meaning they have the THC completely removed during the extraction process but still contain some other cannabinoids. These are helpful for people who want to avoid THC. Lastly, CBD isolate products contain only the CBD cannabinoid and no other cannabinoids or terpenes from the hemp plant. If you want pure 99% CBD then these products are best for you.
Can I Use CBD Bath Bombs For Anxiety?Whilst everyone can enjoy a nice relaxing bath after the end of a long day, we make no claims that our CBD bath bombs can help your anxiety. Should you be experiencing anxiety or any other mental health conditions we would recommend you consult your doctor.

Research into the effectiveness of CBD for skin conditions is still in its early phases and so it would be irresponsible of us to make certain claims when more research is needed to confirm this.
